WOWweewoowaa it’s that time again, this week’s song is – Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple because a photographer called Mark Mawson has produced these incredible photographs. Mark who is already critically acclaimed for his work has created a new collection of images he calls Aqueous Fluoreau.

Strangely haunting and peaceful at the same time the colours and shapes created by paint in water techniques are apparently inspired by milk in coffee…

We love how the colours integrate and the movement shows a really interesting flow of energy.

Mark said – “I get most satisfaction from seeing people enjoying my work. Most people love it but it evokes different feelings in different people. Each person sees different things in the images – much like seeing faces or patterns in the clouds in the sky.”
