Design Gallery, Otrascosas de Villarrosàs, in central Barcelona earlier this year played host to our Learn Something Every Day concept. The ever changing exhibition had been a popular fixture for the time it was in residence, recieving great feedback from visitors.
Phew...we made it. After a year we couldn't have possibly predicted, we'd like to thank all our clients who put their trust in a fledgling design studio, all the fans of our projects who write to us every day from around the world and anyone else who has helped us along the way.
A French Learn Something Every Day calendar published by Hugo Et Cie is on its way for 2011. The desktop calendar will feature as part of a 'daily' range. Fantastique!
We are currently collaborating with Urbis and Reclaim on a year long campaign focusing on turning some of the percieved negatives of the Manchester suburb Gorton, into positive good news stories. Urbis Community Project Manager Abi Robertson commented "We’ve had a lot of great feedback from local residents in Gorton, the billboards & posters have added vibrancy in their locations and a sense of pride in the area. Young have been extremely helpful and it’s been a real pleasure to work with them and see our ideas brought alive in such a colourful and interesting way."
Our new friends at HBO, paid us the highest compliment by featuring the Young icon into their animated comedy 'The Life and Times of Tim". Tim wears the shirt in the season finale this spring. Pretty neat huh?
We are delighted to announce that we have signed a publishing contract with Penguin books for our project 'Learn Something Every Day'. The project will come into fruition in 2011.
Computer Arts 134 feature an interview with us for their 'Start your own studio' special, which was nice considering we havent existed for a year yet!
This month we feature in edition 166 of Computer Arts, on sale now. Get it while its hot.
We are to feature in a book released towards the end of the year showcasing the top 99 creative agencies worldwide, along with some of our favourite studios. Which is nice.
As you can see we have launched our new online folio. We developed the site with the talented Christopher Davenport, thanks Chris!
